I’ve been building software and products since I left high school to join Skykit as a software engineer in Minneapolis, where I grew up. It was one of the few product teams in the city, and where I cut my teeth on product development.
Alongside that work, I launched projects of my own, including GetDotBit.com, the first Namecoin DNS registrar. Those projects led me to MyEtherWallet, where I joined as the first non-founder hire and became CTO. I moved to the Bay Area for the role and joined the Thiel Fellowship.
MEW was the first wallet to support ERC-20 tokens. We grew it from a niche service into the de facto way to use Ethereum in 2017. At its peak, roughly 50% of all Ethereum transactions flowed through our nodes.
After MEW, I consulted across the crypto industry through Grant.io, including work with the Zcash Foundation.
I then co-founded Onedesk, an office-cleaning business, right as COVID hit. The offices closed, so we pivoted into ecommerce, dropshipping electrostatic sprayers and other disinfection supplies. We ranked #1 on Google for “best electrostatic sprayers” and grew to $200K+ in monthly revenue within three months. The business was cash flow positive from month three, and I eventually exited to my partner.
Next came Rep.ai, originally called ServiceBell. I raised $7.5M and scaled the business to $1M ARR. We ultimately shut it down—a story for another time.
Today, I live in New York and lead the Agents team at Owner, where we’re building Owner Agent.
I like cycling, distance running, good food, and spending time with friends and family.
